Summary

Amy Rose Khoshbin is an Iranian-American artist based between New York and Los Angeles. Working across performance, installation, social practice, sculpture, collage, video and music, she creates participatory worlds where sensory experience opens pathways toward liberatory futures. Her work has been presented at the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Guggenheim Museum, the Brooklyn Museum, Times Square Arts, Crystal Bridges Museum, Artpace and the High Line, as well as festivals including SXSW and River to River. She has held residencies at the Watermill Center, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Anderson Ranch, the Momentary, Project for Empty Space and the Banff Centre. She has received a NYFA Grant, the Franklin Furnace Fund, and a Rema Hort Mann Grant. Khoshbin holds an MA in Interactive Art from New York University and a BA in Film and Media Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. She has collaborated with Laurie Anderson, Karen Finley, and poets Anne Carson and Naomi Shihab Nye, among others.
