ATMS Ph.D. student Bianca Martinez (Advisor: Dr. Andrey Khlystov) gave two presentations: (1) “Flavoring Chemical Class Determines Toxic Carbonyl Emissions from Electronic Cigarettes” presented at the 2025 Annual Conference for Society for Research on Nicotine & Tobacco (SRNT); and (2) “Chemical speciation of Biomass Burning Emissions from Shrubland Vegetation” presented at the Harnessing the Data Revolution for Nevada Fire Science (HDRFS) Annual Meeting. Bianca also conducted a Fire Emissions and Atmospheric Aging (FEAA) demonstration with UAS for the HDRFS annual meeting.
