The Center for Constitutional Law's Constitutional Scholars Speaker Series brings nationally recognized legal scholars, judges, historians and public intellectuals to Nevada's campuses for timely, thought-provoking conversations on the Constitution and civil discourse. Featuring speakers from across the ideological spectrum, the series models respectful, rigorous engagement on complex constitutional issues and provides students, faculty and community members with rare opportunities to hear and question leading voices in the field. Through moderated discussions, campus engagements and public events, the series strengthens civic understanding and fosters the habits of informed, civil dialogue essential to a healthy democratic society.

The Center for Constitutional Law and the Nevada Center for Civic Engagement (NVCCE) are pleased to announce the 2026 Summer Institute at the Lake, a premier professional development experience for Nevada鈥檚 middle and high school civics teachers.
Hosted at the 推荐杏吧原创’s beautiful Lake Tahoe campus, the Institute will offer two immersive, residential cohorts:
Teachers from across Nevada’s urban and rural districts will spend the week engaging with constitutional scholars, exploring innovative approaches to civil discourse, and collaborating with colleagues to design classroom-ready instructional materials. This unique program strengthens statewide civic education and supports the preparation of Nevada’s future college students.
